Dave Beasant

Currently the goalkeeping coach for Sky Bet Championship club Reading, Beasant enjoyed a successful playing career with Newcastle United, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest and Southampton, amongst others.

He famously became the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in an FA Cup final, lifting the trophy as Wimbledon captain in 1988.

Becoming a specialist goalkeeping coach, he has worked at Fulham, Bristol Rovers, Stevenage, the Glenn Hoddle Academy, and with the Northern Ireland international team.
