Steve Clarke

Steve Clarke is currently manager of Kilmarnock. Prior to that he was assistant, then caretaker manager at Aston Villa, and before that manager of Reading.

Steve was appointed manager of Reading on 16th December 2014, having previously managed West Bromwich Albion in the Barclays Premier League.

Clarke entered management for the first time after more than 10 years of Barclays Premier League experience under his belt.

Steve, who has held his UEFA Pro Licence since 2006, succeeded Roy Hodgson following his appointment as England manager prior to Euro 2012. He enjoyed an extremely successful first season in charge at WBA, as having guided the club to an 8th place finish, it recorded their highest ever finish in the Barclays Premier League.

Prior to WBA, Clarke served as assistant manager at Chelsea, Newcastle and West Ham, and as first-team coach at Liverpool.

Since beginning his coaching career in 1998, Clarke has worked alongside some highly-respected managers including Jose Mourinho, Sir Bobby Robson and Kenny Dalglish.

His coaching honours during this time include two Premier League titles, plus an FA Cup triumph and three League Cup successes.

During his playing days, Clarke played over 400 games for Chelsea during an 11-year career at Stamford Bridge.
