Biography

Adrian Tucker joined The FA as a National Coach in February 2014. He is currently goalkeeping coach/assistant coach with Bristol Rovers. He is a Uefa Pro and GK ‘A’ licence holder, and a level four coach educator. After playing for Torquay United and in the Welsh Premier League he started his coaching career with the Football Association of Wales in their technical coaching and development department. He also spent three years as manager of their women’s national team. He joined Swansea City in 2009 as goalkeeping coach and was a key member of Brendan Rodgers’ back room staff when the Swans gained promotion to the Premier League in 2011. He went on to help the team win the League Cup under Brian Laudrup in 2013. He subsequently worked as goalkeeping coach at Sunderland under Dick Advocaat, Sam Allardyce, David Moyes, Simon Grayson and Chris Coleman before returning to Swansea. He joined Bristol Rovers in 2019. He has also worked with both the England U21 side and as an academy goalkeeping coach at Birmingham City.
