Use this session to play an open, expansive, forward-thinking passing game, with an emphasis on quick play and forward running. It involves how players should react when the team is in possession and moving upfield.

Biography

Graham Westley's most recent managerial appointment was at Stevenage, his fourth spell at the club. Before that he was in charge at Barnet. Other league clubs to benefit from Westley's stewardship include Peterborough United, Preston North End and Newport County. In his second spell at Stevenage (2008-12) he guided the club into the Football League for the first time, along the way seeing off Newcastle United in a famous FA Cup shock. The Hertfordshire side climbed to League One in 2011, defeating Torquay United in the League Two play-off final. Westley had previously managed several non-League clubs including Farnborough Town, Rushden & Diamonds and Kettering Town. As a player, Westley turned out for a number of clubs including QPR, Barnet, Gillingham and Wycombe Wanderers.
