Biography

Neal Ardley will always be associated with AFC Wimbledon rescuing the reformed club from relegation back to non-League in 2012-13, leading them to promotion in 2016, then keeping them in the third tier until he departed in 2018. Ardley had played more than 250 games for the original Wimbledon during a playing career which also took in Watford, Cardiff and Millwall. He began his coaching career as manager of Cardiff City’s academy. After Wimbledon he took over at Notts County taking them to the Conference play-off final in 2020.
