Biography

Simon Grayson turned to coaching after a playing career that saw him grace the Premier League with Leicester City, Aston Villa and Blackburn. His first taste of management came with Blackpool. He led them to promotion to the Championship in 2007 and achieved the same feat in 2010 with Leeds United, in 2012 with Huddersfield, and in 2013 with Preston. He has also managed Sunderland, Bradford City and Blackpool taking charge of more than 650 matches. Five times a winner of the League One Manager of the Month award, he also received the same accolade with Leeds in the Championship.
