Mr George Dunlop

George Dunlop grew up in Botswana and South Africa, where sport was a way of life — from tennis and rugby to swimming and athletics — although cricket was always his greatest passion. After completing a science degree at Stellenbosch University, he moved to the Netherlands to pursue physiotherapy and soon became involved with Netherlands cricket. Over the years, he has helped establish and develop the Netherlands Cricket Science and Medicine team, supporting the men’s, women’s, and U19 national squads. Working with world-class athletes, coaches, and medical professionals has shaped how he views performance, recovery, and well-being. He currently practices in Austria, where he is a part of a forward-thinking physiotherapy and fitness practice focused on state-of-the-art training and patient care.
