In Possession
Use this full squad session to work on passing out from the back and making the right decisions to pass and keep possession. Its focus includes first touch, through balls, switching play and possession skills, with a final shot or killer pass at the end.

Biography

Mike Phelan is assistant manager of Manchester United. It is his second spell after 13 successful years working alongside Sir Alex Ferguson in a variety of roles at Old Trafford – as first team coach, reserve team manager, and as a long-serving assistant manager. Prior to working with Sir Alex Phelan was assistant manager at Norwich and Stockport. After leaving Old Trafford he was assistant manager of Norwich City and manager of Hull City. He returned to Manchester United to work with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2019. As a player, Phelan enjoyed lengthy spells with Burnley, Norwich City and Manchester United, where he was a Premier League winner in 1993.
