About Jennifer
Jennifer Foster has over a decade of experience in both first team football in the Women’s Super League and academy football in the UAE.
A former player, Foster’s coaching career began in 2014. Following three years as head of academy at GoPro Sports in Dubai, Foster’s first WSL role came in July 2018 with Birmingham City, where she held the role of first team coach until 2021.
Foster moved to Bristol City as first team assistant manager, a position she held for two years, before joining Leicester City. Employed as first team assistant manager, Foster took on the interim manager role for the end of the 2023-24 season, guiding the Foxes to the FA Cup semi-final for the first time in the club’s history.
In February 2025, Foster was appointed senior first team coach at Everton under manager Brian Sorensen.
She is part of the New Zealand women’s coaching staff for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup Cycle.
Foster is currently undertaking the UEFA Pro Licence.
