ABOUT DARYL

Daryl White began his coaching career alongside his role in the UK military, working as an analyst and coach for the UK Armed Forces.

He then progressed to assistant head coach and then head coach, a role in which he was responsible for coaching the very best players from the Army, Navy and RAF while managing a large backroom staff to ensure that the UK Armed Forces Football was successful in competition when playing the national teams of other countries including Germany, Holland, France and Republic of Ireland.

Away from the military, he held various roles at step 4 club Bracknell Town, including interim first team coach, head of foundation phase and u18 head coach, and at Bristol Rovers Academy in a talent identification role.

In 2022, he joined Southampton, first as a talent centre academy coach and then, in 2024, as an academy coach.

Daryl is currently undertaking his UEFA A Licence and holds the FA Youth Award. He completed the Elite Soccer Coaching Award in the summer of 2025.
