This session examines how to counter-attack at speed, linking up play with strikers and using quick combinations to score.

Biography

Ian Foster holds the Uefa Pro licence. He is currently head coach of England U18s. Foster played for Hereford, Kidderminster, Chester and Barrow, twice winning the Conference national. He began coaching as assistant to Jeff Kenna at Galway United moving on to manage Dundalk. He then worked on the coaching staff at Coventry and Portsmouth before joining the FA in 2017, initially as a specialist coach working across the development teams.
