We’re looking for attackers to fashion goalscoring opportunities both when in and out of possession, while defenders must concentrate on defensive compactness, discipline and communication. This resilience is a feature of every successful team, and being able to penetrate this line effectively on a consistent basis is central to winning football matches.

Biography

Having launched his managerial career with home-town Bristol Rovers in 1996 Ian Holloway has enjoyed a lengthy and colourful career in management working at eight clubs including QPR twice. His most notable success came in his first full season with Blackpool when Holloway remarkably guided the club to the Barclays Premier League with a 3-2 play-off final victory over Cardiff City. The success saw The Seasiders return to the top flight of English football after a 39-year absence. Holloway has also managed Plymouth Argyle, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Millwall and Grimsby, where he is currently both manager and director. Besides Blackpool he has won promotions with QPR and Palace. He played primarily for Bristol Rovers and QPR.
